Family engagement has a direct connection to student success. The below apps can help families stay connected to their student's academics and school experience. These apps can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Infinite Campus Parent Portal

The confidential and secure app where you can get current information about your student such as:

  • Accessing student grades
  • Review attendance and absences AND report an upcoming absence
  • Seeing assignments due or upcoming exams
  • Pay student fees
  • See student schedules
  • Transportation information

FirstView 1.0 Transportation App

MMSD, in collaboration with our transportation partner, First Student, uses FirstView1.0 to provide real-time GPS vehicle tracking and student transportation monitoring.

The new FirstView 1.0 app has been enhanced to provide better tracking results of students’ scheduled routes, including those using specialized transportation.

School Cafe School Breakfast/Lunch Account App

We encourage families to use School Café to manage your child’s school lunch account and stay connected to MMSD School Nutrition.Creating an account is quick and easy and offers many benefits:

  • Apply for Free or Reduced-Price Meals
  • View School Menus containing nutritional information and allergy warning
  • Provide feedback by rating menu items
  • Make payments
  • View purchase history
  • Receive low balance alerts

To create an account, you will need your student’s school ID number. Please reach out to your school for this information if you are unable to locate it.

ParentSquare

MMSD uses a school-to-home messaging platform called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection at our schools. Families will still receive communications from our school if you do not create an account on ParentSquare, but it unlocks many features, including help guides.

The ParentSquare app is available in both iOS or Android stores. Downloading the mobile app is the easiest way to receive all Posts, Events, Sign Up Requests, Photos and Files.
